 Cruise West, with eight small ships in its fleet, features up-close travel where the focus is on scenery, wildlife, natural
history and culture. The 114-passenger Spirit of Oceanus, an all-suite vessel, is Cruise West's flagship. The 96-passenger Spirit of 98 was designed to emulate an early-20th century coastal steamer. The other 'Spirit' ships are generally similar in size and style. The Sheltered Seas, which explores Alaska's Inside Passage, is a touring motor yacht where passengers overnight in hotels on shore. The Pacific Explorer, similar to the 'Spirit' ships, is used for exploring Central America.. |
